Where is Sol Beach located?

Sol Beach is on the quiet northern end of Klong Prao Beach, in the centre of Koh Chang island — surrounded by ocean, lagoon and mountains. Address: 21/89 Moo 4, Koh Chang, 23170 Trat, Thailand.
How do I get to Sol Beach from the ferry / Trat Airport?

Trat Airport is about 35 km away (roughly 40 minutes plus the short ferry crossing). From the Koh Chang ferry pier it's about a 20–25 minute drive down the west coast. We can help arrange a taxi or transfer from Bangkok or Trat — just message us on WhatsApp at +66 64 746 7735 when you have made a booking.
What are your opening hours?

Reception and the restaurant are both open daily from 8 AM to 10 PM.

Do you have a swimming pool?

We don't have a pool — by design. Sol Beach sits directly on one of the best swimming beaches on Koh Chang, so the sea is just a few steps from your bungalow. But, check out SAGA Boutique Villas (sagakohchang.com), located 10 meters behind Sol Beach, if you would like to have a pool included in your stay.

What types of bungalows do you offer?
We have a small collection of beachfront and garden bungalows that blend clean Nordic design with Thai craftsmanship. Deluxe bungalows suit two guests; larger villas can sleep families. Every room has a private bathroom and a balcony, and some have beachfront sea views.
How do I book a room, and is booking direct cheaper?

Is the restaurant open to non-guests / walk-ins?

Yes — everyone is welcome. Our beachfront restaurant is open all day to walk-in guests as well as those staying with us. No reservation is needed, though we recommend booking a table for sunset or big days like Christmas.
What kind of food do you serve?

An all-day menu of healthy Thai and international dishes, fresh sushi, big breakfasts and brunch, plus plenty of vegetarian and vegan options — and yes, we still do pizza and burgers, to keep the balance. We're also known for our cocktails and our sunset DJ sessions.
Can I reserve a table?

Yes. You can reserve a table through our website or by messaging us on WhatsApp at +66 64 746 7735. Sunset tables are the most popular, so booking ahead is a good idea.
Sol Beach Wellness
What wellness classes do you offer, and how much do they cost?

We run daily classes — yoga (Hatha, Yin, Vinyasa), Pilates, breathwork, sound healing, mobility and a run club. Most classes are 400 THB; private sessions are 900 THB per person. Mats are provided and all levels are welcome. Hotel guests get free Yoga/Pilates classes at 9 AM everyday.
Do I need to be a hotel guest to join classes or use the gym?

No — our wellness program is open to everyone. A Gym Day Pass is 300 THB and includes the beachfront gym, sauna and ice bath. You can register and walk-in at any time in the reception or on WhatsApp.
Do you have an ice bath, sauna and spa?

Yes. The ice bath and sauna is open daily free for all hotel guests (included in the Day Pass for walk-ins). You can also join a guided Breathwork & Ice Bath class for 400 THB. We also have a sauna and offer traditional Thai massage and spa treatments by the beach.

Do you have a running club?

Yes! Join our running club every monday 9 AM - and get free access to the sauna, gym, ice bath and a latte matcha after.

What boat trips do you offer?
We run six private boat adventures for small groups (max 5 people), from snorkelling escapes and sunset cruises to secret-beach getaways and a night squid trip. You can order food and drinks from our menu to bring along. Ask at reception or message online to book.

What else is there to do at Sol Beach?
Stand-up paddleboards and kayaks (free for guests all day), beach volleyball, beach tennis, a slackline, and live music and events through the season — including BBQ nights, reggae bands and seasonal celebrations.

Is parking available?

Any tips about sandflies on the beach?

As with most natural tropical beaches, sandflies can appear around dawn and dusk. A light insect repellent handles it easily, and our reception can give you some oil products to protect.
